I have an SX-3 Flanigun that I purchased several years ago, The "Flanigun" is the limited production model with a red receiver that Patrick Flanagan used when he was an exhibition shooter for Winchester several years ago. This gun came with a black synthetic stock which has been fine until recently. WebAug 13, 2024 · There are a few things you can do to remove sticky residue from a synthetic gun stock. One is to use a mild soap and warm water. Another is to use a alcohol-based cleaner. You can also try using a non-abrasive cleaner like Goo Gone. If the sticky residue is really stubborn, you can try using a fine-grit sandpaper.

WebAug 16, 2024 · Tons of guns with the duratouch finish are getting sticky. Browning will warranty it but you have to send then the gun and who knows how long the turn around time will be. A friend of mine had a new a5 with this problem and he opted to remove it himself using alcohol and white scotchbrite (extra fine).
