WebAfter creating the project, the project URL does show the correct port number. Because it works in some areas and not others, this is likely a bug with URL generation. Other instances are described below. This may be related to #3662 (closed) . Steps to reproduce -> Essentially just run gitlab on a non standard port behind a reverse proxy.
